I skyped into the MAt Reading group on Friday. I did audio only as the Furtherfield wireless was still wonky. It was interesting to view out and know I am not seen. I was less incline to focus on the discussion and tended to do other tasks and walk away from the computer. When I forgot to put the mute on, the group could hear me typing and sighing. Near the end of the discussion, I had left the laptop and when I got back the connection was broken. I assumed they realized I wasn’t there.
Actually, Saul forgot I was there and just closed down the laptop. Sam commented how it felt like they had closed me up in the computer.
Educational on how easily to be ignored when a common object as pointed out in earlier conversations.
